Leviticus 6:8 NLT
“Then the Lord said to Moses,”
The Lord said to Moses
Even though today’s referenced scripture contains only six words, it contains insightful messages. First, it shows that the Lord was the dominant player in the conversation. In other words, the Lord was in the driver’s seat, and Moses was in the passenger seat. Friends, we must allow God to be the dominant player in all our conversations. Furthermore, Moses did not drag the wheel with the Lord. Unlike what some people occupying the passenger seat tend to do, Moses didn’t give instructions to God. Lastly, Moses patiently stood with God and was on hand to report God’s instruction at every juncture. Moses was not just physically present but was spiritually alert to God. Friends, God has not stopped speaking through the scripture, so let’s be spiritually in tune with Him.
Prayer
Dear Father, I yield the driver’s seat to You. Please take all glory in my life. In Jesus’s name
