Leviticus 6:9 NLT
“Give Aaron and his sons the following instructions regarding the burnt offering. The burnt offering must be left on top of the altar until the next morning, and the fire on the altar must be kept burning all night.”
Give Aaron and his sons
We live in a time that everyone wants to be everything. People are using every means to gain relevance. People that ought to be in the background want to be at the forefront. Consequently, many believers tend to be unfulfilled. The reason tends to be the urge to be the mover and shaker. Humanly speaking, Moses qualified to be a priest, but God had a different role for him and guess what? He was satisfied. Moses happily served as the “liaison officer” between God and the people of Israel. God trusted Moses that he would do as stated and that he wouldn’t miscarry the message. Moses didn’t disappoint God by changing the recipients of the instruction to someone other than Aaron and his sons. Moses complied with God’s instructions by ensuring that Aaron and his sons received all the instructions they needed to serve the Lord effectively. Friends, are you adhering to God’s instructions, and are you making others effective in their worship of the Only Wise God?
Heavenly Father, please help to cherish the role You assigned me in Your vineyard and allow me never to withhold instructions for Your people. These I ask in Jesus’s name, amen.
