Leviticus 15:30 NLT
”The priest will offer one for a sin offering and the other for a burnt offering. Through this process, the priest will purify her before the Lord for the ceremonial impurity caused by her bleeding.“
‭‭
Rededicate your life now
The Lord stipulated that any woman healed of unusual blood flow must present herself for a purification exercise on the eighth day after healing. This exercise is essential and cannot be delayed or fast-forwarded for any reason. It must occur on the specified day, even if it falls on the Sabbath. However, one might wonder how the purification exercise can occur on the Sabbath, given that the Lord has explicitly prohibited any ordinary work on that day. Remember that the prohibition covers ordinary work, but it was not about anyone worshiping God on the day (Exodus 31:12-17).

Under the law, the two sacrifices were important otherwise, the woman healed from unusual blood flow, will remain unpurified before the Lord. The sin offering acknowledges the woman’s sin and requests forgiveness. The burnt offering symbolizes the woman’s dedication to the Lord. Friends, are you dedicated to the Lord? Or have you allowed life challenges to make God secondary in your life? Just as the Lord required any woman healed from an unusual blood flow to rededicate her life, never feel too big to rededicate your life to God whenever you go wrong.

Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father, I come before You today with a humble heart. I offer my life to You, and ask that You use every moment of my existence to bring glory to Your name. I commit to living a life that honours You in all that I do, say, and think. Thank You for Your grace and mercy, and for the gift of salvation through Your Son, Jesus Christ. May Your will be done in my life, now and forevermore. Amen.
