Leviticus 15:29 NLT
”On the eighth day she must bring two turtledoves or two young pigeons and present them to the priest at the entrance of the Tabernacle.“

Free in Christ
According to the law, if a woman suffered from unusual blood flow, she was considered ceremonially unclean and could not participate in any religious activities. If she was healed, she could not be declared clean immediately. Instead, she had to wait for seven days and then perform a purification exercise on the eighth day. After this, the woman could now approach the Tabernacle to offer sacrifices unto the Lord.

However, through the finished work of salvation, we can receive cleanliness status and become right with God simultaneously. Jesus has removed the time constraint so we can approach God as soon as we’re healed and restored. This means that we no longer have to wait for a specific number of days or perform any purification exercise to be declared clean and accepted by God. We are made pure by the blood of Jesus Christ, and He has made a way for us to approach God without any barriers.

Another message centers on the items required for the purification exercise. God required the use of readily available and affordable items for the woman, which shows that He is interested in our fellowship. The woman did not have to use expensive or hard-to-find items to become purified. This teaches us that God does not burden the vulnerable or put them in difficult situations.

Therefore, if we claim to be under grace, we cannot burden people, particularly those already struggling, with any yoke or requirements beyond their reach. We must extend grace, love, and support to those who need it the most, just as God has done for us.

Prayer
Heavenly Father, I thank You because I don’t have to bring anything other than faith in the Only Begotten Son each time I approach You. Please help me to cherish the grace always. In Jesus’s name, Amen.
