Leviticus 14:35 NLT
”The owner of such a house must then go to the priest and say, ‘It appears that my house has some kind of mildew.’“
‭‭
Mind your expression
The Israelites were still wandering in the wilderness when God gave the instructions in today’s Scripture. They lived in portable tents, but God had plans for them to become homeowners. Friends, your present precarious situation, whatever it is, does not define what God has in store for you.

Furthermore, God warned that owning a house might have challenges, especially mildew growth. When faced with this issue, the Lord instructed that the owner must inform the priest immediately rather than attempting a DIY solution to avoid potential embarrassment. Friends, do not be hesitant to share your worries and difficulties with God.

Additionally, the Lord gave the line that the owner must render when reporting the mildew to the priest. The owner could not use a word that indicated certainty about the mildew. The priest had the final say in determining whether it was mildew and what actions needed to be taken. This reminds us not to be quick to judge our situations negatively but to trust in Jesus, our High Priest, to make the ultimate judgment.

Prayer
Heavenly Father, everything that I have comes from You. Therefore, I ask that in any area with a semblance of “mildew” in my life, Lord, please silence “mildew” and restore me. In Jesus’s name, Amen.
