Be vigilant
As believers in Christ, we must acknowledge that we are constantly engaged in a spiritual battle with the power of darkness. This battle is not physical but spiritual, affecting every aspect of our lives. However, we should take heart because, through Christ, we are more than conquerors in this battle.
To overcome the power of darkness, we must always be sober and vigilant. We should not engage in spiritual gymnastics or rely on our strength but instead depend on the mighty weapons of the Lord. The scripture reminds us that the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds.
It is important to note that no one has ever overcome Satan on this side of eternity. He is always looking for an opportunity to strike again after every defeat. Therefore, we must ensure that Satan’s visits are futile by keeping God’s Word in our hearts and minds.
Satan’s ultimate goal is to steal, kill, and destroy, just like mildew destroys clothing irreparably. He is always looking for ways to access our lives, but we should never give him any space to operate. We need to be vigilant and guard our hearts against his attacks.
In conclusion, we should be mindful that we are in a spiritual battle and always be on guard. By staying close to God and relying on His strength, we can overcome the power of darkness and emerge victorious.
Prayer
Heavenly Father, I commit my life to You. Please protect me and everything You have placed under my care. Let no affliction repeat itself in our life. In Jesus’s name, Amen.
