Leviticus 13:50 NLT
”After examining the affected spot, the priest will put the article in quarantine for seven days.“
‭‭
Does God care?
The scripture teaches us that every human being has a yearning in their heart to connect with God and enjoy eternal fellowship with Him (Ecclesiastes 3:11). However, the challenges and disappointments of life can cause many people to lose interest in God, especially when their prayers seem to go unanswered. Despite this, the scripture affirms that God deeply cares about our needs, desires, and even the smallest details of our lives. If not, God would not have blessed the kitchen utensils of the children of Israel as He did in Deuteronomy 28:5.

This is further highlighted by the fact that in today’s referenced scripture, the Lord instructs the priest to quarantine clothing with even a small amount of mildew for seven days to assess the situation before deciding on the next course of action. This demonstrates that we must take the time to understand every situation thoroughly before making a judgment. Rushing to judgment might cause irreversible mistakes with unending heartaches, and does not want us to experience such.

Another lesson is that the priest operated within boundaries because they did not request to see other clothing, and the reason is that they trusted whoever brought the clothing. So, does God care? Yes, He does even about the littlest things of our lives.

Prayer
Heavenly Father, please help me not to pass judgment about anything without doing my due diligence. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
