Leviticus 13:46 NLT
”As long as the serious disease lasts, they will be ceremonially unclean. They must live in isolation in their place outside the camp.“
‭‭
Tough times don’t last
Everyone wishes for a lovely day. However, life can be unpredictable, and events we do not desire might happen. When such an event occurs, it is the natural way to feel dejected. But it is essential to remember that adversity is a part of life, and how we respond to it matters (John 16:33).

Let us take a moment to imagine how anyone with a serious skin disease in the camp of Israel felt when they had to leave their friends and family and move to a location outside the camp where there were no visitation privileges. It must have been a very challenging and traumatic experience. The isolation was necessary to prevent the spread of the disease, but it came at a significant cost to those affected.

However, the Lord did not abandon them. God made provision for their healing and restoration because He didn’t say that was the end. The scripture says that once the serious disease runs its course, the affected will be free and can return home.

It is important to note that every dire situation has an expiry date. With God’s help, we will not be swallowed up by these challenges. In conclusion, remaining resolute and having faith in God during challenging times is crucial. Let us hold on to hope and trust that better days are ahead.

Prayer
Dear God, I pray that every unbecoming situation in my life comes to expiration. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
