Leviticus 13:41 NLT
”And if he loses hair on his forehead, he simply has a bald forehead; he is still clean.“
‭‭
Let God’s word decide.
As human beings, we are influenced by our culture and environment, shaping our beliefs and viewpoints. However, we must remember that these cultural viewpoints often do not align with God’s desires and teachings. In today’s referenced Scripture, there is an indication that people believed hair loss on a man’s forehead resulted from uncleanliness and should make him ceremonially unclean. However, the Lord clarified that this was not the case.

It is essential to note that patterning ourselves after what operates in heaven is the best course of action. In doing so, we can ensure that our actions and beliefs align with God’s will. This is why when a disciple asked Jesus to teach them how to pray, our Lord and Saviour taught us to pray for God’s will to be done on earth as it is in heaven.

As we navigate life, evaluating what guides us is essential. Therefore, it is necessary to reflect on this question: Do the actions of our environment influence us, or does God’s will guide us? By aligning our beliefs and actions with God’s will, we can live a life that is pleasing to Him and beneficial to ourselves and those around us.

Prayer
Dear God, please help me not to be judgmental; instead, help me to allow Your word to lead me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
