Leviticus 13:22 NLT
”If during that time the affected area spreads on the skin, the priest must pronounce the person ceremonially unclean, because it is a serious disease.“
Time will tell
The phrase “time will tell” often suggests that the truth about a situation will eventually be revealed. However, it’s essential to understand that time doesn’t change something from good to bad or vice versa. Instead, time reveals what has already been sown.
In today’s referenced scripture, the Lord emphasizes that the true nature of the affected area of skin will eventually become apparent with time. This means that what is on the inside of a person ultimately reflects on the outside. This concept is similar to the scripture that says what comes from within makes one unclean.
When the Lord returns to reward his followers, He will not reward us based on wealth or social status but on what our hearts revealed over time. Therefore, we must strive to live a life of integrity, honesty, and righteousness. By doing so, we can be confident that when our true nature is revealed over time, it will be a testament to our faith and devotion to God.
In conclusion, the idea that time reveals the truth is a powerful reminder that our actions and choices have consequences, both in this life and the next. By living a life that is true to our values and beliefs, we can ensure that our legacy is one of honour, compassion, and love.
Prayer
Heavenly Father, I pray that whatever will be revealed over time about my life will always bring glory to You, and I will not become cast away. In Jesus’s name, Amen.
