Leviticus 11:36 NLT
“However, if the carcass of such an animal falls into a spring or a cistern, the water will still be clean. But anyone who touches the carcass will be defiled.”
The water will still be clean
During a Bible study, the anchor delivered a crucial message about blood. He explained that once a bloodstain forms on an object, it cannot be entirely removed. However, there is one type of blood that can remove all stains, which is the blood of Jesus Christ. In other words, no stain can render His blood powerless.
Likewise, the scripture referenced today reveals that the carcasses of any unclean animal cannot contaminate the water in the cistern or spring because of the constant stream, which filters out any impurities.
Therefore, we can bring all our impurities to Jesus, the living water, and His power will not be invalidated (John 7:37-38). However, if we willingly hold onto any uncleanliness, we will become unclean and forfeit the kingdom of God (Galatians 5:21).
Prayer
Thank you, Heavenly Father, for sending Jesus the Living Water. I acknowledge that my mistakes and errors cannot negate His power. Please help me not to crave the works of the flesh after You have refreshed me. In Jesus’s name, Amen.
