Leviticus 11:6 NLT
“The hare chews the cud but does not have split hooves, so it is unclean.”
Do you believe?
There has been a lot of debate about the authenticity of certain scriptures, including the one referenced today. The main point of contention is not whether hares have split hooves but rather whether they chew cud. People have questioned how God can be all-knowing if he didn’t know that hares don’t chew cud. However, scientific research conducted between 1939 and 1977 overwhelmingly supports the idea that hares do indeed chew cud, even though their anatomy is different from that of goats, sheep, rams, and cows. It is important to remember that God does not make mistakes. Even in situations where it seems difficult to see His plan, we should not doubt His Word. We do not need validation from others to follow His instructions. If God declares something unclean, even if the entire world disagrees, His will cannot be changed. On the other hand, if He asserts something is clean, even if everyone else says otherwise, His will cannot be overruled. Therefore, friends, let us accept and operate within God’s instructions for our lives, and we will be glad we did.
Prayer
Heavenly Father, please help me believe in Your words without waiting for scientific validation. In Jesus’s name, Amen.
