Leviticus 11:2 NLT
“Give the following instructions to the people of Israel. “Of all the land animals, these are the ones you may use for food.”
Meant for all
Providing clear and concise instructions not only facilitates the recipient’s understanding but also reflects positively on the giver’s character. No instructions are given, except for the giver’s care and desire to see the potential beneficiaries succeed. In today’s scripture reference, God instructed Moses to deliver specific instructions to the people of Israel. These instructions were not meant to be kept hidden but shared with everyone. The Lord did not exclude anyone from receiving them, whether rich or poor, high or low, priest or layman, as they were meant for all to follow. Importantly, these instructions applied to Moses, Aaron, and his two surviving sons as well.
The fact that God gave directions on the nutrition of the people of Israel shows that He cares about the smallest details of our lives. It is always advisable to follow God’s instructions in every aspect of our lives, even in matters that may seem insignificant. We can take comfort in knowing that God has our best interests at heart and wants to see us thrive in all areas.
Prayer
Heavenly Father, please help me follow Your instructions with grace and love.
