Leviticus 10:20 NLT
“And when Moses heard this, he was satisfied.”
‭‭
Let’s reason together
In 1 Thessalonians 5 verse 21, we are encouraged to thoughtfully assess all aspects of a situation and hold onto what is good. This is exemplified in the story of Moses, who discovered that Eleazar and Ithamar had burned the goat of the sin offering instead of consuming it as instructed. Rather than lashing out or seeking validation from others, Moses approached Aaron and his sons directly to express his disappointment. Through this interaction, Moses could listen to Aaron’s perspective and reason with him. This is a valuable lesson in conflict resolution, as it shows the importance of approaching others with an open mind and willingness to understand their point of view. Additionally, the fact that Moses was ultimately satisfied with Aaron’s explanation suggests that their conversation was productive and successful in resolving the issue at hand. Overall, this story teaches us the importance of listening, reasoning and seeking resolution through constructive dialogue.

Prayer
Dear God, please help me to approach all issues with Your perspective instead of my own opinions. In Jesus’s name, Amen.
