Leviticus 9:23 NLT
“Then Moses and Aaron went into the Tabernacle, and when they came back out, they blessed the people again, and the glory of the Lord appeared to the whole community.”
They blessed the people again
Our actions following a worship service can tell us how the service has impacted us. As noted in the scriptures, Moses and Aaron blessed the people upon returning from the Tabernacle, demonstrating the importance of imparting blessings to others. If our post-service actions lack blessings, we may need to evaluate our relationship with God and determine ways to strengthen it.
It is fascinating to note that when Moses and Aaron blessed the people, the glory of God appeared to the entire community, indicating that physical manifestations can occur when God’s name is invoked to bless a person or community. As believers, we are responsible for blessing others without hesitation, which is an essential aspect of our faith. However, we must avoid validating a curse by referring to Jesus’ condemnation of the fig tree or His use of “woe” to describe individuals and communities.
Instead, we should focus on Jesus’s promise of good works and let it guide our interactions with others. We should always strive to utilize our anointing to do good, just as Jesus did during His time on Earth. In doing so, we can continue to spread positivity and blessings to those around us, strengthening our relationship with God and living out our faith in meaningful ways.
Prayer
Dear God, please help me speak of Your glory to others through my heart and words. In Jesus’s name, Amen.
