Leviticus 9:21 NLT
“Aaron then lifted up the breasts and right thighs as a special offering to the Lord, just as Moses had commanded.”
Who commanded your actions ?
Sometimes, people fail not because they lack instructions but because they choose not to follow them. For example, a teacher may ask students to solve a problem using a specific method, but a student may choose a different approach. Even if the student gets the correct answer, they might not receive full credit for the question.
If we want to succeed in God’s kingdom or business, we must follow divine instructions. Today’s scripture shows that Aaron did not devise his actions on his own; he followed instructions from Moses, who received them from the Lord. You and I have the Holy Spirit, unlike Aaron, who had Moses. Therefore, let us endeavour to listen to the guidance of the Holy Spirit, who will never lead us astray.
Prayer
Heavenly Father, I desire to follow the Holy Spirit’s instructions all the days of my life. Please help me to always yield to the instructions of the third Person in the Trinity. In the name of Jesus, I offer this prayer. Amen.
