Leviticus 8:32 NLT
“Any meat or bread that is left over must then be burned up.”
Don’t worry about everyday life
Following the divine commandments is crucial for our well-being and success. However, these commands may often seem contradictory to our usual ways of doing things, making them challenging to follow. For instance, in today’s referenced scriptures, the Lord instructed that any leftover meat or bread must be burned up, which may seem wasteful to us humans. However, it is essential to understand that God has a purpose for everything He commands us to do.
In this case, perhaps God wanted Aaron and his sons to trust Him as their provider and not become distracted by preserving leftovers. He wanted them to depend entirely on Him for their daily bread so that they could focus solely on carrying out their tasks. By doing so, they could experience the fullness of His provision and blessings.
Therefore, it is crucial to remember that God takes care of us today and will continue to do so in the future. As Jesus reminds us in Matthew 6:25-33, when we seek God’s kingdom and live righteously, He will provide everything we need. We don’t have to worry about our everyday life because we have a faithful and loving God who always takes care of us.
In conclusion, following God’s commandments may seem challenging at times, but it is essential for our success and well-being. By trusting in Him for our daily bread and focusing on His kingdom, we can experience His provision and blessings in our lives.
