“Then Moses took all the fat around the internal organs, the long lobe of the liver, and the two kidneys and the fat around them, and he burned it all on the altar.”
Nothing left behind
Benjamin Franklin once said, “Tell me, and I forget; teach me, and I remember; involve me, and I learn.” This quote emphasizes the importance of hands-on experiences in the learning process. The story of Moses and Aaron in the Bible also reflects this idea. Initially, Moses imparted God’s commands to Aaron, then taught him, and finally involved him in carrying out God’s injunction. Moses followed God’s instructions meticulously, ensuring that he examined all areas and took the necessary actions. He even went as far as to burn all the fat on the altar, symbolizing his complete commitment and sacrifice to serving God and putting Him above all else. This story serves as a powerful example of how one can demonstrate their devotion to God through their actions.
Prayer
Dear God, I humbly ask for Your guidance and support as I continue to walk with You. I desire to live a life of obedience and be a shining example of Your love. I pray for these things in the name of Jesus. Amen.
