“He placed the turban on Aaron’s head and attached the gold medallion—the badge of holiness—to the front of the turban, just as the Lord had commanded him.”
The badge of holiness
The meticulousness with which Moses imparted instructions to Aaron as the High Priest is truly remarkable. Every detail was adhered to with utmost precision, right down to the placement of a gold medallion turban atop Aaron’s head. This particular instruction bears significant weight for followers of Christ. It serves as a poignant reminder to prioritize holiness in every aspect of our lives. Friends, it is not enough to don the mantle of holiness when in the company of other believers; we must strive to embody it in all our thoughts, emotions, and actions at all times. Are you wearing the badge of holiness in all your endeavours ? Please, note that we must be holy just as He is holy.
Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father, please guide me to always exhibit holiness in all situations and places. I pray for your divine assistance in this matter. In Jesus’s name, amen.
