Moses followed the Lord’s instruction
The choices we make today will inevitably shape the course of history. Therefore, we must ensure that these choices align with God’s instructions. Although Moses had the option to disregard the instructions given to him by the Lord, he chose to obey them. The scripture explicitly states that “Moses followed the Lord’s instruction.” When we are tasked with a responsibility, which instructions do we choose to follow? It is worth noting that Moses adhered to the Lord’s pattern, and this is what makes him an exemplary figure. Moreover, it is crucial to realize that Moses’s obedience had a significant impact on the Israelites, as evidenced by their gathering at the entrance of the Tabernacle. Friends, your approach to God’s commands can have a ripple effect on others, especially those who believe in your calling. Therefore endeavor to ensure that there is no gap between what the Lord requested and what you perform.
Prayer
Dear God, I pray I will not engage in behaviour that will turn people away from You. Instead, I pray that my actions will lead them closer to You, the Only Wise God. I ask this in Jesus’s name. Amen.
