Leviticus 7:29 NLT
“Give the following instructions to the people of Israel. When you present a peace offering to the Lord, bring part of it as a gift to the Lord.”
To the people
Today’s scripture reminds us that our Creator desires an intimate and meaningful relationship with each of us, irrespective of our background or social status. This is a purpose that Moses himself was called to fulfill, and it is a profound and enduring journey that we must all undertake. Our ultimate goal is to maintain a peaceful and harmonious connection with God, and should we ever find ourselves at odds with Him, we need only turn to the sacrifice of Jesus for forgiveness and redemption. For those who are already at peace with God, we can seek guidance and growth in order to produce even more spiritual fruit. Let us all be inspired to deepen our personal relationship with God, fully understanding that we are each called to this divine purpose.
Prayer
Dear God, I am grateful for Your constant care for me and all Your people. Please help me always to appreciate the peace that comes through Jesus Christ. Amen.
