Leviticus 7:26 NLT
“No matter where you live, you must never consume the blood of any bird or animal.”

Some airlines now offer free Wi-Fi to their passengers while on board, but there are still restrictions on certain activities that could endanger the safety of those on the flight. Similarly, God grants us freedom, but He also prohibits behaviors that could harm our relationship with Him. Today’s scripture emphasizes that consuming bird or animal blood is forbidden in all locations, including the Tabernacle and living quarters. Interestingly, this command was not given to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob but rather to their descendants. This may have been because their descendants adopted some practices from their time in Egypt and needed to be reminded to stay away from them. As believers, we must remember that we are citizens of heaven and not of this world and, therefore, should not engage in worldly practices.
Prayer
Heavenly Father, I humbly request to be guided by Your instructions and that I may not engage in any activity that goes against Your will. I offer this prayer in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
