Be humble
As Paul wrote in 2 Timothy 3:16-17, every scripture is for several things. One such is training in righteousness. So what training did God plan to achieve with today’s referenced scripture? To get a good perspective, let us ponder on something. Note that there was no statute of limitation to the admittance of wrongdoing as instructed by God. In other words, whoever committed a wrong must admit it whenever they realized it, regardless of how long it happened. As long as the flesh is in control, admittance would remain a tall order because no one likes to admit wrongdoing. However, when God’s spirit is in charge admitting to wrongdoing would be easy to do. Friends, let’s allow God’s spirit in our lives because the flesh has no profit and does not please God.
Prayer
Dear Father, please endue me with the Holy Spirit because the flesh cannot do Your will. In Jesus’s name. Amen.
