Leviticus 4:30 NLT
“Then the priest will dip his finger in the blood and put it on the horns of the altar for burnt offerings. He will pour out the rest of the blood at the base of the altar.”
‭‭
Willingly done
For some reason, every human has people that they like to associate with. However, the priest’s calling forbade him to cherry-pick whom to associate with. Irrespective of economic status or societal position, the priest must be available for all. And that was why he performed the same atonement rituals for the haves and the have-not. How the procedure is performed must not be grudgingly but willingly from the heart. The question is, who can do this 100 percent of the time? Without a shadow of a doubt, no human measures up. Think of it this way. If, in a day, 100 or 1000 commoners show up with sacrificial animals for sin committed ignorantly, the priest has no choice but to attend to them. As a human, he might be physically exhausted or emotionally drained, yet the procedure must be adhered to. However, Jesus is never tired of bringing our supplications to God. Let us, therefore, embrace the finished work of salvation, which He purchased with His blood.

Prayer
Heavenly Father, please help me to embrace Your finished work continually. In Jesus’s name, amen.
