“So the people of Israel followed all of the Lord’s instructions to Moses.”
The people of Israel
A particular word rarely occurs in the same sentence with the people of Israel. It is the word – obedience! However, when it came to the Tabernacle project, the people of Israel were exceptional because they followed all of the Lord’s instructions given to Moses. Note that the instructions were many, but interestingly none fell on deaf ears. It is worth noting that Moses did not gloss over it. Moses celebrated their obedience to the Lord hence the reason he reported it in the scripture. Friends, how often do you acknowledge the good in others? Or better still, do you recognize the good in others or is it only their shortcomings or inadequacies that get airtime?
Prayer
Merciful Father, I am not perfect, and nobody is. Please help me so I may see the best in others. In Jesus’s name. Amen.
