Exodus 39:30 NLT
“Finally, they made the sacred medallion—the badge of holiness—of pure gold. They engraved it like a seal with these words: Holy to the Lord.”
Holy to the Lord
The making of the sacred medallion was not a one-person endeavor because the scripture pluralized the number of artisans that made it. Even though no information regarding the number of artisans that teamed up to execute the task was provided, one can attest that they worked harmoniously with one another. However, what could be going on in their minds as they made the badge of holiness? Perhaps they thought about the holiness of God. Another insight for living was these artisans didn’t need to allocate days for consecration before starting the job assignment. The implication is that they were ever-ready. Friend, how ready are you to work for God? Do you need advance notice? Lastly, the scripture says they engraved “Holy to the Lord” on the sacred badge, which set it apart from any other badge. Friend, is your life holy to the Lord?

My Father and my God, I ask for the enablement to be ever ready to attend to Your assignments at all times. In Jesus’s name, amen.
