“The turban and the special head coverings were made of fine linen, and the undergarments were also made of finely woven linen.”
The best fabric
The undergarment is not meant for public consumption, yet it deserves attention. In fact, a famous axiom says that “one can tell a lot about a person from his underwear.” Statista projects the 2022 revenue of the undergarment industry as US$24.43 billion, and it will rise to US$84.13 billion in 2028, suggesting that people of all ages spend a lot on undergarments and it would not have happened if not that there is considerable attention on undergarments. One could surmise that humans took after God. Today’s referenced scripture shows that God cared for what Aaron and his sons wore to minister in His presence. God instructed that Bezalel make their underwear from the best fabric the world had ever known at that time. Here is another insight. Perhaps, Aaron and his sons never knew what God planned for them. Friend, as God called you to work for Him in any capacity, He shall supply all your needs more than you can ever imagine. In Matthew 6, our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, says we must not worry about anything because God has taken care of them. God cares not only for y(our) outerwear; He cares for y(our) underwear – those personal issues you cannot share with anyone.
Prayer
My Father and my God, Your care goes beyond the seen. Your care for the hidden is equally excellent. I bring both known and hidden needs to You; please take care of them. In Jesus’s name, amen.
