Exodus 39:15 NLT
“To attach the chest piece to the ephod, they made braided cords of pure gold thread.”

Who are the ‘they’?
The attachment of the chest piece to the ephod, as well as the material utilized to carry out the task, was undoubtedly an essential piece of information. However, another bit of information that could easily be overlooked was how the attachment occurred. Without the involvement of some people whose identities the scripture did not reveal had joined the two items. The lesson here centers on the anonymity of the artisans. Friends, if at anytime our names are not conspicuously written or engraved on any endeavor or task we carried out like these artisans, please let us not be dismayed because God knows and sees our involvement and will duly reward us in due season. Although no one knows the name of the little boy that offered two fishes and five loaves that Jesus used to feed five thousand people, but God knows him. Above all, let us ensure that we are part of the ‘they’ that give helping hands whenever there is a need.

Prayer
My Father and my God, please help me to be selfless in rendering my services to You. In Jesus’s name, amen.
