Exodus 39:3 NLT
“He made gold thread by hammering out thin sheets of gold and cutting it into fine strands. With great skill and care, he worked it into the fine linen with the blue, purple, and scarlet thread.”

With great skill and care
Every assignment has at least two ways of execution. One could use the preferred route or the non-preferred route. One thing about the preferred route is that it might be challenging. Whenever such is the case, avoidance tends to be the rule. However, Bezalel didn’t avoid the preferred option of getting the gold thread. He painstakingly worked on thin sheets of gold to get the desired outcome. If not that he loved God, perhaps he might have used dyed cotton to make gold thread. Another message is that the kind of thread that Bezalel made from the thin sheets was not any kind. The scripture stated they were fine strands. In other words, Bezalel didn’t use the strenuous process as an excuse to make substandard gold threads. Instead, he achieved a feat that was probably considered impossible. It is expedient to note that without God’s backing, such wouldn’t have been possible. Friends, regardless of how arduous a divine assignment might seem or be, total dependency on God is the surest way to achieve the desired goal.

Prayer
My Father and my God, please help me always to be careful with every assignment. In Jesus’s name, amen.
