Numbers 3:36 NLT
“These two clans were responsible for the care of the frames supporting the Tabernacle, the crossbars, the pillars, the bases, and all the equipment related to their use.”

Have you seen a man…?
One striking observation concerning the instructions given to all the sons of Levi is that there is no place in Scripture where God had induced them before they offered their service. This omission serves as a reminder that our worship should not be transactional in nature. Unfortunately, it is common to encounter individuals who are inspired to contribute only when they believe they will receive a direct benefit, or when they hear testimonies about miraculous transformations resulting from regular attendance at services or participation in ministry within God’s vineyard.

However, despite the absence of explicit promises related to their service, there is no record of the Merarites, Gershonites, or Kohathites experiencing neglect or deprivation. They were supported and provided for, illustrating a profound truth: God provides for and meets the needs of everyone who faithfully serves Him. Their faithfulness in carrying out their duties serves as a model of service rooted in devotion rather than expectation, reminding us of the importance of serving with a pure heart, regardless of anticipated outcomes.

Prayer
Heavenly Father, please help me to serve You wholeheartedly, not as a debt or for the sake of gaining favour, but with a deep, genuine desire to honour Your holy name. Guide my actions and decisions, allowing me to reflect Your love and teachings in all that I do. In Jesus’s name, Amen.
