Leviticus 24:19 NLT
“Anyone who injures another person must be dealt with according to the injury inflicted—”
‭‭
Fairness
Some people find it hard to believe we are all equal before God. If God operated a two-tier system regarding how He views His children, the scripture referenced today would not exist. The Lord states that anyone—whether a native-born individual or a foreigner living in the camp—has the same standing. Friends, once you give your life to Christ, you receive the same benefits and coverage as those before you. Just as God communicates with them, He will also communicate with you.

The Lord emphasized that no one should inflict harm on another without facing consequences. If a native-born person injures another native-born individual or a stranger, that person is fully accountable for the injury. Similarly, a stranger must face the full penalty if they harm anyone. The Lord insists that the punishment must correspond to the injury inflicted, so no one should act overly zealous in administering justice.

Prayer
Heavenly Father, as I navigate the complexities of my daily life, I humbly ask for Your guidance in cultivating a deep sense of impartiality in all my thoughts, actions, and decisions. Please help me embrace fairness and understanding so I may treat others with kindness and respect, regardless of their background or circumstances. In Jesus’s name, Amen
