Leviticus 20:13 NLT
“If a man practices homosexuality, having sex with another man as with a woman, both men have committed a detestable act. They must both be put to death, for they are guilty of a capital offence.

What are you practicing?
We live in a world that believes God makes mistakes. Some people justify their behaviours by claiming they were born that way. However, the referenced scripture clarifies that God does not create anyone with behaviours that go against His will. Instead, these behaviours are learned.

The scripture uses the word “practice.” To practice something, one must have an interest in it. Therefore, we should exercise self-control in our interests. We shouldn’t be like someone who, because they grew up in a family that distributed soft drinks, decided to mix different kinds of soft drinks and ended up with a traumatic experience when nature called.

In today’s world, there are many behaviours that people practice, such as sexual perversion. The once clear boundaries between the sexes have become blurred, and sexual morality has deteriorated to the point where it is considered abnormal to speak out against what the verse above calls a detestable and punishable act. As end-time Christians, we mustn’t condone such despicable acts and instead uphold sexual morality.
