Putting them into practice
I vividly remember meticulously studying a specific comprehension passage focused on Mr. Giwa during my early primary school years. Even now, I can effortlessly recite it from memory. Perhaps your passage revolves around Agbo, a resident of the town of Lagun near Ibadan. It’s fascinating to note that individuals have varying capabilities when it comes to memorization.

While memorization may be advantageous for academic accomplishments, it may not align with what God expects from us to demonstrate our love for Him. As indicated in today’s scripture, God directed the people of Israel to consistently express their love for Him by faithfully following His decrees and regulations. It’s essential to recognize that the Lord did not demand a one-time act of obedience; rather, it should be an ongoing commitment. It is not the quantity of His instructions that you can recite that matters to God but how well you put them into practice. So, my friends, are you putting the Lord’s decrees and regulations into practice?

Prayer
Heavenly Father, I pray that I will not just be a hearer of Your word but make every effort to be a doer of them all at all times. Help me, Lord Jesus. Amen.
