Leviticus 16:17 NLT
“No one else is allowed inside the Tabernacle when Aaron enters it for the purification ceremony in the Most Holy Place. No one may enter until he comes out again after purifying himself, his family, and all the congregation of Israel, making them right with the Lord.”
No one else
In today’s referenced scripture, it is essential to highlight that Moses, not Aaron, received the instructions according to verse 1 of Leviticus 16. Moses faithfully reported the instructions as the Lord commanded without exempting himself. It’s crucial to remember that when God does not give us permission to do something, we should not force it or interpret it as abandonment. Reconciling the people of Israel with the Lord was a serious task. No one was allowed to accompany Aaron, and no one could enter the Tabernacle until he had completed his task. The children of Israel obediently followed the Lord’s instructions, with no record of disobedience. The Lord expects us to obey Him fully. Are you obeying Him?
Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father, please help me relay Your instructions as intended and follow them as expected. In Jesus’s name, Amen.
