Call to unity and cooperation
Naturally, we find ourselves drawn to certain individuals, and our desires often lead us to seek their company. However, within God’s kingdom, every person is a brother or sister, and we need to cultivate a willingness to collaborate with anyone. A striking example of this is seen in the positioning of the tribe of Asher next to the tribe of Dan. Despite their biological makeup differences, neither showed resistance or pushback regarding their placement.

Friends, we must be prepared to work alongside anyone in God’s vineyard, regardless of our backgrounds. We may come from different tribes, speak different languages, or have varying cultural practices. Still, if God has orchestrated our paths to cross, we should strive to set aside our differences and concentrate on the divine work. If having Asher camped next to Dan could lead to division or hindrance, God would not have allowed that pairing to happen. Therefore, let us embrace this call to unity and cooperation, recognizing that our collective efforts are vital in fulfilling God’s purpose.

Prayer
Heavenly Father, as I navigate life’s challenges, I ask for Your guidance in embracing every opportunity for unity and cooperation within Your kingdom. Help me to recognize the moments when I can support others and work together harmoniously, reflecting Your love and grace in all my interactions. Grant me the wisdom and strength to follow Your will in all endeavours, and may my heart be open to fostering peace and understanding among those around me. In Jesus’s name, I pray. Amen.
