God’s will
It is essential to recognize that there are instances when the Lord’s directives apply to everyone. For example, when the Lord instructed Moses to ask the people of Israel to bring precious metals and items for the construction of the Tabernacle, this instruction was meant for all who had these items and were willing to contribute.
Also, there are instances when the directives are for a few. For instance, for any man to be enlisted to go to war on behalf of Israel, he must have reached the age of twenty, regardless of their physical stature. No one was included because they were heavily built, and no one who met the minimum age was excluded due to a petite body frame.
It is also crucial to note that the instruction applied specifically to those at least 20 years old on the day of enumeration; it did not include anyone who would turn twenty the following day. The lesson here is that adherence to the Lord’s instructions must align precisely with what He specifies.
Prayer
Heavenly Father, I earnestly pray that Your divine will guide every decision and action. Help me to understand and embrace the plans You have for me, and grant me the strength and courage to joyfully follow Your path, no matter where it may lead. May my heart be open to Your guidance, allowing me to serve You and others faithfully daily. In Jesus’s name, I pray. Amen.
