“The Lord said to Moses,”
An open channel of communication
Moses’s relationship with the Lord was characterized by a remarkable and intimate pattern of divine encounters, each marked by profound revelations and guidance. Unlike many who might struggle with silence or attempt to plead for attention, Moses experienced an open communication channel; the Lord was always responsive and eager to engage with him. This extraordinary connection allowed Moses to receive instructions not just in moments of crisis but as part of an ongoing dialogue filled with wisdom and direction.
As you step into God’s presence, take a moment to pause and truly listen; it’s important not to fill that sacred space solely with your own words and requests. Remember, the Lord anticipates your approach before the thought crosses your mind, demonstrating His deep awareness and willingness to meet you where you are. Trusting in this relationship is crucial, as the messages and insights imparted by God are not only significant but also hold transformative power in our daily lives. The fact that the Lord communicated directly with Moses is a reminder: any individual who genuinely seeks His presence with an open heart will undoubtedly hear His voice and receive the guidance they need for their journey.
Prayer
Heavenly Father, thank You for the open channel of communication with You that I have through Christ Jesus. Please help me listen to You so I may not miss Your instructions. In the name of Jesus, I offer this heartfelt prayer. Amen.
