Leviticus 26:6 NLT
“I will give you peace in the land, and you will be able to sleep with no cause for fear. I will rid the land of wild animals and keep your enemies out of your land.”
‭‭
I will give you peace
If the people of Israel had been sleeping peacefully in the past, the divine promise of sleeping without fear would not have been necessary or meaningful to them. With this promise, the Lord revealed His care for every aspect of their lives, including their ability to sleep with both eyes closed. In the same respect, the Lord is committed to providing peace of mind to everyone who follows His instructions.

The second sentence of the referenced scripture highlights God’s omniscience. It is possible that the people of Israel were concerned about how to deal with wild animals that might inhabit the promised land. However, since the Earth belongs to the Lord and everything in it, getting rid of those animals so that the people of Israel can enjoy their stay was not a challenge. Friends, if you dedicate your life to glorifying God, He will remove the “wild animals” from your land. It is important to note that the Lord did not say He would eliminate those wild animals but instead would rid the land of them through methods known only to Him—just as He plans to address their enemies. The Lord didn’t say He would kill their enemies but promised to keep them at bay.

Prayer
Heavenly Father, I humbly pray that I may be mindful of my actions and their timing, so that I do not unwittingly forfeit the abundance of Your blessings in every aspect of my life—be it my relationships, my work, or my personal growth. Grant me the wisdom to recognize Your guidance and the patience to wait for Your perfect timing, so that I may fully embrace the opportunities You provide and cultivate a life rich in love, peace, and purpose. In Jesus’s name, Amen.
