Leviticus 25:7 NLT
“Your livestock and the wild animals in your land will also be allowed to eat what the land produces.”

None of His creation left out
Did you know God’s love extends beyond the individual and encompasses everything connected to you, including your possessions and responsibilities? This profound truth is illustrated in scripture, where God conveys His love and provision for all creation. In the context of the Israelites, He commanded that during the Sabbath year—a time designated for rest and rejuvenation of the land—what naturally grows in the fields is permissible for both the people and their livestock to consume.

This divine instruction carries a significant message: the land’s produce, thriving without human intervention during the Sabbath year, would be plentiful enough to sustain humans and animals. However, livestock owners have a crucial responsibility; they must choose to allow their animals to partake in this freely available harvest.

If they decide to withhold this provision, God, in His loving manner, will not impose His will upon them. This situation highlights a vital principle: while God’s provision is generous and abundant, embracing it is ultimately a personal choice. Friends, the invitation is open, but it is upon you to accept and partake in the blessings that flow from His unwavering love.

Prayer
Dear Father, I thank You for the grace of Your provision for all You have created. May I also learn from You by extending Your goodness to others. In Jesus’s name, Amen.
