‭‭In Jesus, we have everything
Many organizations strive to become a one-stop shop, aiming to offer comprehensive services and products to their customers, allowing them to meet all their needs in a single visit. Interestingly, none of the sacrifices in the above imbues all benefits. For instance, the provision of a one-year-old goat for sacrifice, performed by a priest, could lead to forgiveness of sins for those seeking atonement and nothing more. Similarly, the offering of two one-year-old lambs was also sacrificed, and it was believed to restore peace and favour with God but didn’t confer forgiveness of sin.

However, this understanding shifts dramatically with the advent of Jesus and His crucifixion at Calvary. In His finished work, believers are granted access to countless heavenly blessings—freedom from sin, unconditional forgiveness, and enduring peace. This transformative belief emphasizes that through faith in Jesus, individuals can receive all they need spiritually without animal sacrifices. Therefore, the invitation stands clear: let us come to Jesus, who embodies the ultimate fulfillment of our spiritual needs and grants us direct access to divine grace.

Prayer
Heavenly Father, thank You for sending Jesus into the world. Through His death, resurrection, and ascension, I am freed from the law of sin and death and have a renewed relationship with You. In Jesus’s name, I pray. Amen.
