Leviticus 20:27 NLT
“Men and women among you who act as mediums or who consult the spirits of the dead must be put to death by stoning. They are guilty of a capital offence.”

Is Christ Jesus sufficient for you?
In today’s referenced scripture, the Lord indicates that both men and women have the same tendency to act against His will. In other words, disobedience isn’t a male or a female issue. By prescribing the same punishment, God shows that He treats all genders equally. The Lord is not misogynistic or feminist when it comes to disobedience. Therefore, let us guard our hearts because those whom the Lord said might act as mediums or consult mediums are not outsiders but people from within, and you and I don’t want to be those people.

So, why would anyone act as a medium or consult a medium? It is when one sees God is incapable of doing what He said He would. Friends, is Jesus sufficient for you? In John 14 verse 8, Philip revealed the minds of the 12 disciples. He said that Jesus should show them the Father, and that will be enough for them. Once again, is Jesus enough for you? If your answer is yes, do not nurse the idea. If it is no, today is the day of salvation. Change your ways, and you will be glad you did.

Prayer
Heavenly Father, I pray I will always find contentment in You as my Lord. I pray that I will not seek help from Egypt but always place my faith in You. In Jesus’s name, Amen.
