Leviticus 18:10 NLT
“Do not have sexual relations with your granddaughter, whether she is your son’s daughter or your daughter’s daughter, for this would violate yourself.”

There is something about the “I AM WHO I AM.” He never leaves anyone in the dark about the outcome of any endeavour they might want to pursue. In other words, the Lord does not operate in hindsight with anyone. Instead, He always shares the different outcomes associated with each option. As a good Father, He always reveals the best option but never forces anyone to take it. Our choices never surprise Him; if we choose contrary to His will, the Lord is never at a loss. In the referenced scripture, the Lord revealed that the propensity to sin does not end at a certain age.

Otherwise, there wouldn’t have been any need to instruct the grandfathers on what not to do. With the instruction, the Lord warned grandfathers to remain vigilant because the accuser of the brethren desires to ruin their legacy. The devil will not do it through outsiders but would instead use the person to self-destruct through unnatural emotions. Therefore, it is essential to note that we must continue to walk out our salvation with fear and trembling until Jesus returns or we are called home.

Prayer
Dear God, please help me to always stay true to myself and not compromise Your values in any situation I encounter. I ask for Your support and strength in upholding everything You instruct at all times. I humbly pray for this in the name of Jesus. Amen.
