Leviticus 16:8 NLT
”He is to cast sacred lots to determine which goat will be reserved as an offering to the Lord and which will carry the sins of the people to the wilderness of Azazel.“

‭‭‭With God on our side
The scripture affirms that YHWH is an all-powerful God who needs no assistance in His endeavours. However, He sometimes chooses to work through people to accomplish His will. One such instance is recorded in today’s scripture reference.

The Lord instructed Aaron to determine which of the two goats would serve as a sin offering and which would carry the burden of sin into the wilderness of Azazel. This task was challenging, as Aaron had to ensure that the procedure he followed would yield the desired result.

The Lord would never commit responsibility to anyone who cannot deliver. Perhaps the Lord has assigned a task to you that seems daunting. He is not setting you up for failure. He knows you can do it. Therefore, don’t disappoint Him. However, if you think deeply, you will realize that He provided instructions on performing it.

This scripture passage teaches us that God has deposited immense treasures in us that will enable us to carry out divine assignments. As long as we trust the Lord with all our hearts and seek His guidance in every endeavour, He will direct our paths and guide us to success.

Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father, I humbly seek Your guidance in making the right decision. Please help me to follow Your will. In Jesus’s name, I pray. Amen.
