Leviticus 16:20 NLT
“When Aaron has finished purifying the Most Holy Place and the Tabernacle and the altar, he must present the live goat.”

No one but Aaron
Today’s referenced scripture reveals some critical messages. Firstly, the presentation of the live goat had to occur after specific procedures had been performed, indicating that skipping steps was not allowed. The Lord did not ask Aaron to perform the task based on their difficulty or easiness level, but according to how He specified it. To truly walk with the Lord, we must follow His instructions for our assignments. Just because a task seems simple does not mean it should come first or last; the same goes for seemingly difficult tasks. Another message is that the Lord associated Aaron’s name with the purification of the Most Holy Place, the Tabernacle, and the altar, indicating that these tasks were specifically Aaron’s responsibility, and not even his sons could perform them. Your assignment is your own and not anyone else’s.

Dear Heavenly Father, I ask for the strength to perform every task assigned to me to Your delight. In Jesus’s name, Amen.
