Leviticus 15:33 NLT
”or a woman during her menstrual period. It applies to any man or woman who has a bodily discharge, and to a man who has sexual intercourse with a woman who is ceremonially unclean.”
No exemption
The scripture referenced above highlights that God does not play favourites. He treats everyone equally and holds everyone accountable for their actions, whether they are rich or poor, priest or not. It is important to note that just because someone has more talent or wealth than another does not make them more valuable in God’s eyes. God loves and values every person equally, and He expects everyone to follow His instructions and live according to His will.
The scripture also warns that even those closest to God, such as Moses and Aaron, are not exempt from the consequences of their actions. If they were to violate God’s instructions, they, too, would face the same consequences as anyone else. Therefore, we must be fair and just in our judgment and avoid playing favourites. Let us remember that God is a just judge who holds everyone accountable for their actions, and we should strive to live in a manner that pleases Him and brings glory to His name.
Prayer
Elohim, I come before You seeking your divine guidance and assistance. Please help me to stay fair and impartial in all my endeavours and to avoid any tendencies of favouritism that may compromise my integrity. I know You are a God of righteousness and equity, so I humbly ask that You grant me the wisdom and discernment to make just and unbiased decisions in all aspects of my life. Amen.
