Leviticus 15:25 NLT
”If a woman has a flow of blood for many days that is unrelated to her menstrual period, or if the blood continues beyond the normal period, she is ceremonially unclean. As during her menstrual period, the woman will be unclean as long as the discharge continues.“
‭‭
Beyond the normal period
According to the referenced scripture, the Lord said that a woman can become ceremonially unclean under two conditions – flow unrelated to the menstrual period or flow beyond the normal period. This was the situation of the woman with the issue of blood, as recorded in Matthew, Mark, and Luke. The Lord stated that the uncleanliness status of any woman with such a condition continues unabatedly – in other words, it does not assuage with time. Time does not change the status, and only God can change situations.

One significant insight for living is that the miracles of our Lord and Saviour not only challenged but also invalidated the ceremonial laws. Leviticus 15:18 states that whoever a woman with the flow of blood touches will become unclean until evening. Interestingly, when the woman with the issue of blood touched Jesus, her touch did not make our Lord and Saviour unclean, nor did it make others who touched Him unclean.

Friends, has your situation gone beyond normal? Please don’t wait for them to assuage with time because time changes nothing. Instead, approach Jesus with faith, and you will be relieved.

Prayer
Oh God, the difficulties and struggles in my life have been weighing me down for a long time. I have tried everything possible to improve things, but nothing seems to work. Today, I come to You seeking Your divine intervention to change my situation. I know only You can make the impossible possible, so I trust You. Thank You for hearing my prayer. In the name of Jesus, I pray, Amen.
