Our inclinations
There is nothing about humans that is strange to God. God knows our inclinations even before we embark on them. God knows the behaviour that will bring glory to Him and knows those that will create a wedge between anyone who engages in it and Him. Being a loving Father, He always warns against engaging in anything that does not glorify Him.
In today’s referenced scripture, the Lord asserted that anyone who sat on the bed or any object that any woman experiencing her menstrual period sat on would be ceremonially unclean. It is worth noting that the Lord did not state that no one should visit a woman experiencing her menstrual period because she hasn’t done anything terrible. Instead, the Lord required visitors to be personally responsible for their well-being and not become a channel for spreading diseases.
Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father, I pray that I will note everything that does not glorify You, and Your Holy Spirit will help me to steer clear of them. I pray this in Jesus’s name, Amen.
