Leviticus 14:48 NLT
”But if the priest returns for his inspection and finds that the mildew has not reappeared in the house after the fresh plastering, he will pronounce it clean because the mildew is clearly gone.“

The mildew is gone
Today’s scripture highlights God’s goodness. The Lord instructs the priest to declare a dwelling ceremonially clean if no evidence of mildew is found. The priest scrutinizes the house, looking for signs of mildew, considered a symbol of impurity. If the house is found clean, the priest declares it clean, and the dwelling status is restored.

Undoubtedly, the house’s restoration would have been significant for the residents. They would have been filled with joy and relief to hear that their home was clean and could once again live without fear of contamination. It would have restored their sense of safety and security. It’s important to remember that some houses never made it, so those whose homes were restored must not attribute the recovery to anything they did but to God. The scripture says, “Not of him that wills or runs, but of God that shows mercy.”

Friends, let’s learn to be humble in victory.

Prayer
Heavenly Father, I pray that every mildew activity in my life ceases. In Jesus’s name, Amen.
