Leviticus 14:34 NLT
”When you arrive in Canaan, the land I am giving you as your own possession, I may contaminate some of the houses in your land with mildew.“
‭‭
Free of charge
Today’s exposition centres on the second part of the referenced scripture. In this part, God explained that the Israelites would not possess the land because of their strength or power but because He had chosen to give it to them. This shows us that God’s grace is sufficient to accomplish His divine promises, and human effort cannot achieve it.

It’s crucial to remember that God didn’t just give the land to the Israelites for a specific amount of time, but He gave it to them permanently and for free. This means the land was an inheritance to the Israelites and was theirs to keep forever. Similarly, God’s grace is freely available to us; we can inherit it as a permanent gift. We must value and appreciate this gift and show gratitude to God for it.

In conclusion, the scripture teaches us that God’s grace is sufficient to accomplish His divine promises in our lives. We don’t have to rely on our strength or power but can trust God’s grace to see us through. Just like the Israelites inherited the Promised Land, we, too, can inherit God’s grace as a permanent gift. It’s our responsibility to value and appreciate this gift and express our gratitude to God for it.

Prayer
Heavenly Father, thank You because Your gifts are without repentance. I pray that I will not treat any particularly my salvation, which the Only Begotten Son gave me, with triviality. In Jesus’s name, Amen.
