Leviticus 14:2 NLT
”The following instructions are for those seeking ceremonial purification from a skin disease. Those who have been healed must be brought to the priest,“
‭‭
Heal me, O Lord
The Scripture referenced today, Leviticus 14:1-32, provides us with several insights for living. First, it reveals that there is light at the end of the tunnel for everyone experiencing any unpalatable event. More importantly, it shows that healing is not farfetched and sooner than expected, isolation would be over. This instruction reinforces Job 14:7, which states that even a tree has more hope than a person – if cut down, it will sprout again and grow new branches. So, if you are feeling down, do not worry. Life events may have set you back, but remember that God can restore the years that were lost.

The Lord requires those who have been healed to return to the priest not because they don’t believe the claim but because it is symbolic. The priest must declare that the person is free and can return home and resume daily activities. This is a powerful reminder that healing is not just about physical restoration but also about being accepted back into society and rejoining the community.

Once you receive healing in any aspect of life, go to Jesus, our High Priest, because whoever the Son of Man sets free is free indeed. Let us never forget that God is always with us, even in our darkest moments, and He plans to bring us out of isolation and into a place of restoration and freedom.

Prayer
Heavenly Father, please heal me, I will be healed; save me, and I will be saved, for You are the one I praise. I pray this in Jesus’s name. Amen.
